And Then, We'll Just Hang Out

This morning I had the amazing honor of eating breakfast with a life long friend Alyse, her beautiful kids, and her sweet mom. She lives 6 or 7 hours away, and we rarely get to see each other. To top it off she was celebrating finishing her MFA with a road was delightful.

When we parted ways I headed up to friend Joanne's house to group together and drive to Lake Tahoe for the rest of the day.
Our agenda:

1. Sit on our butts and look at the water and beautiful trees.
2. Unwind.
3. Relax.
4. Rest.
5. Contemplate, after which we ...
6. Take a break.
7. Kick back

Then we drove back to her house where Spencer did yard work to earn money (blog to follow why soon) and in general...
8. Hang out.

We were highly successful, we completely achieved our goals.

We added in some sandwiches and snacks, and later a chicken dinner and watermelon with a DVR recording of the PBS special of the Boston Pops....

With the dinner and DVR-ing, you were practically overachievers!

I am so glad you got to do this!

With goals like these, I finally would have had a 100% productive day too! :)

(sounds lovely!)
